Discover Robin Kipp’s Passion for Life (Part Two)

BiniBlog Robbin Kipp Boy Inspiration Success

Robin Kipp, a student of Media and Communications at the University of Monaco, has a lot more to share about his passions, dreams, and ambitions, which he pursues despite his disability. He also has a lot of insight on what success really means, and what passion has got to do with it.

  • How did you manage to make a career out of your passion?

Well, right now I have my whole career path ahead of me as I am still at University. However, I hope that once I graduate, I will set out on a career path inspired by my dreams, passions, and goals.

  • How do you define success and how do you measure up to your own definition of it?

I think defining success is a tough undertaking; there is just so much to it! Steve Jobs, who I consider to be the most visionary and influential innovator of our time once said: “Have the courage to follow your heart and intuition, only they know what you truly want to become.” This is by far my favourite quote about success because it is just so true. Passion evidently has a key role to play, since the more passionate you are, the more likely you are to succeed. Apart from this, the success derived from a task you are passionate about is the most amazing reward one could possibly receive.

It is not just about personal success, though. If I can help another person be successful, their success is also my own. The results of such a mutually beneficial relationship is greatly rewarding; it is what I would define as “ultimate success”.

  • What tips would you give someone trying to live his/her passion to the fullest?

I would absolutely stick to Steve Jobs’ suggestion here: that you should follow your heart and intuition. Anyone with a passion, vision, and will strong enough to succeed should never give up, no matter what obstacles he may need to overcome. Remaining focused on your personal goals is important because we all know how easy it is to get distracted.

Also, I think it is important to pay attention to the people close to you, especially your relatives and friends. Their input and support can be incredibly powerful in terms of pointing you towards the right direction; at least that was the case for me. Of course, there will always be people who disagree with you; people who may discourage you because they think you are pursuing the wrong thing. Personally, I think it is a bad idea to simply ignore them, as their criticism may actually be of great value when you are deciding whether or not you should pursue your passion. It is important to keep a healthy sense of judgment here, as even those not in favour of you pursuing your passion can actually prove beneficial!

Apart from that, I would say just do what you think is best for you and what makes you happy, as happiness is definitely one of the greatest feelings in life!
